The NYC North Queensland Cowboys thumped the Newcastle Knights 66-16 at 1300SMILES Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
It was a match to forget for the young red and blues as Cowboys backs Gideon Gela-Mosby and Marcus Jensen registered hat-tricks and forward Coen Hess picked up a brace.
Going into half time the Knights were scoreless, but picked themselves up from the canvas late on with tries to Brayden Musgrove, Dean Kouka-Smith and captain Tyrone Amey.
