On the one year anniversary of the devastating Dungog floods, the Newcastle Knights returned to town for a community event at Dungog Warriors Junior Rugby League Club.

The Dungog Warriors received a $10,000 grant from the Holden Home Ground Advantage Program to replace equipment and make repairs at the ground.

Knights Kade Snowdon, Jaelen Feeney and Lachlan Fitzgibbon were on hand at Bennett Park to present the cheque during the Club's training session.

Representatives from the Warriors junior football Club as well as Graham Turner of Turner Holden were also present at the presentation.

The Knights were pleased to return to the local club after attending a huge community event in June last year to raise spirits in town after the traumatic natural disaster.

The full Newcastle Knights squad spent the evening at the Club running a skills clinic, photo and signing sessions as well as getting to know the town’s locals.
