With the new season only weeks away, Knights TV asked some of the players who they thought the best pre-season performer was.

While there were quite a few names that came up, one was mentioned more than the rest.

Tyler Randell

Jeremy Smith, Mickey Paea and Will Pearsall all nominated Randell as the most impressive trainer this pre-season.

"He's pretty fit, he's strong in the gym and he's one to look out for this year," Smith said of the hooker.

Dane Gagai

The Queensland representative has taken on a leadership role this pre-season, and his efforts on the field have backed this up.

"He's become a real leader in the team and I know he helps a lot of the younger blokes out. He gives everything every session," Jack Stockwell said of Gagai.

Jake Mamo

"Mamo is always up there with his cardio and his dedication to training," Nathan Ross said of the utility back with freakish levels of fitness.

David Bhana

The New Zealander has impressed in his first pre-season at the Club.

"He tries really hard and he's always the first one down on the field putting heaps of effort into the drills," Brade Smith said.
