Korbin Sims checks his technique in the mirror.

Newcastle Knight Korbin Sims has been included in Queensland Maroons 20-man squad to attend the Queensland Academy of Sport Emerging Origin camp in Brisbane later this month.

The 20 players will spend three days in camp at the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre from January 29 and be further indoctrinated in what it takes to represent Queensland at State of Origin level.

This is the third year Sims will be involved in the camp.
