Gifted halfback Tyrone Roberts played his junior football for the Western Suburbs Rosellas before joining the Knights' junior ranks in 2009.

He made his NRL debut against the Sharks in 2011 and went on to play 97 games for the Club, representing NSW Country and the Indigenous All Stars along the way.

During his five seasons at the Knights, Roberts forged a reputation as an elusive runner of the ball that could turn a game on it's head with a carefully weighted kick or pass.

In August, it was announced that Roberts would be leaving the Club to join the Gold Coast Titans in 2016.

Danny Buderus

"Tyrone's one of the most naturally instinctive players I've met... I haven't seen a better dummy in the game."

Jarrod Mullen

"He was one of the most skilful players I've played with, and I've played with some great players in my time."

Dane Gagai

"He had a lot of natural ability and he got to showcase that at one of the highest levels, so it was just a privilege to be able to witness that and be a part of it."
