Beau Scott joined the Newcastle Knights in 2013 from the St George Illawarra Dragons with a well-earned reputation as one of the NRL's hard men.

While the enforcer's 2013 season was hindered by injury, in 2014 he went to another level - playing for NSW, Australia and being named the Knights Players' Player.

Scott again represented NSW in 2015 and played 18 games for the red and blue, but in April the Club announced that he would be leaving to join the Parramatta Eels in 2016 for family reasons.

Scott played 53 games for the Knights and leaves a lasting legacy with the fans as a player that never gave up.

Robbie Rochow

"He's the ultimate competitor and someone you'd definitely want in your team... I've taken a lot from his game and the way he plays."

Jarrod Mullen

"He definitely made 90 per-cent of my tackles, so thanks for that Beau... you've definitely protected me out there."

Jeremy Smith

"He's someone I love playing alongside of, he's got a heap of mongrel in him and he's not afraid to rip in."
