The Newcastle Knights has made a number of line-up changes for Saturday’s Heritage Round match against the Gold Coast Titans at Hunter Stadium.

Sione Mata’utia, who is forced out of the match due to a concussion he suffered against the Canberra Raiders, is replaced by Jake Mamo.

Chris Houston and Clint Newton come into the side in place of Joseph Tapine, Paterika Vaivai and Sam Mataora, who were originally named on an extended bench.

Houston makes a return from injury after breaking his finger in Round 15.

The NRL will be raising funds for the NRL Foundation and RiseForAlex Fund this weekend as part of its ongoing support of players who have suffered a catastrophic spinal injury playing rugby league.  

$1 from every attendee at matches across Men of League Heritage Round will be split evenly between the Foundation and RiseForAlex Fund.  The NRL are also running an online auction, again, all funds raised from bids will be split evenly between the NRL Foundation and RiseForAlex Fund.  

Fans have the chance to bid for unique memorabilia and VIP match experiences. The auction is open now and will close at 10:30pm AEST on Thursday 23 July.
