Robbie Rochow and Beau Scott are the major injury concerns for the Newcastle Knights following Friday night's loss at Suncorp Stadium.

The Knights lost the pair midway through the first half and were forced to play with a two-man bench for the remainder of the match.

Rochow went to hosptial on Friday night for an X-ray, which confirmed a broken right forearm while Scott will have a scan on his shoulder on Saturday.

At this stage, his results are expected to be known by Monday.

Meanwhile, Jarrod Mullen traveled with the team but was unfit to play in Friday's match as an injured toe continues to cause problems.

"Jarrod trained Thursday but woke up sore, it is a delicate process," coach Rick Stone said after the match.

"We'll back it off now and hope to get him right for the next game."

The Knights have a bye in Round 17.
