Kurt Gidley was found not guilty at the NRL Tribunal on Wednesday night and will be free to play in the Knights' next game.

Tuesday June 9:

Kurt Gidley will plead not guilty to a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge. His tribunal hearing is scheduled for 6pm on Wednesday night.

Monday June 8:

Newcastle Knights captain Kurt Gidley has been issued with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge by the Match Review Panel on Monday.

Gidley is charged for contact in the 38th minute on Canberra's Blake Austin.

The Club will consider Gidley's options before deciding on the plea by midday on Tuesday.
