UPDATED:

After seeing the specialist on Tuesday, Jack Stockwell is scheduled to have surgery on his bicep later this week.

It is approximately a three month recovery following surgery.

Monday June 8:

It's mixed news on the injury front following the Newcastle Knights Round 13 match against the Canberra Raiders at Hunter Stadium.

The early prognosis following scans for Jack Stockwell indicate he will need surgery on his bicep however he'll see a specialist this week to determine the extent of his injury.

Meanwhile it's better news for David Fa'alogo who suffered a hamstring injury on Saturday. The veteran forward is hopeful of being available after the bye.

The Knights have a bye in Round 14 and return in Round 15 to host the Cronulla Sharks.

A reminder the team will be in Dungog on Tuesday afternoon as the recovery process continues following the storm that hit the region in April.
