Match Analysis

This fixture last season was made memorable for the Knights when Jarrod Mullen returned earlier than expected from a hamstring injury picked up at the 2014 Auckland Nines.

He went on to inspire the team to only their second win of the season as his outstanding kicking game kept the Raiders on the back foot for much of the game.

Jarrod Croker started proceedings with an early try, but the Knights soon responded through James McManus and then Adam Clydsdale, who scored his first try for the Club from dummy-half.

The Raiders fought back through Shannon Boyd just before half-time but in the second half the Knights proved too strong with two unanswered tries from Beau Scott and Dane Gagai.

In 2015 these two sides again line up desperate for a win, the Knights sitting in 12th and the Raiders in 10th.

In total seven Knights that were a part of the Round 6 win last year won't be playing this Saturday - three have moved on from the Club and the other four are currently injured.

Carlos Tuimavave assumes Mullen's position, Jack Stockwell replaces Jeremy Smith and Tariq Sims is in for Robbie Rochow.

Sione Mata'utia, Tyler Randell and Sam Mataora are also newcomers for this fixture.
