The Newcastle Knights has named an 18-man squad for Monday night’s match against the North Queensland Cowboys at Hunter Stadium.

Centre Joey Leilua is set to return from a throat injury, however he will need to pass a medical later in the week, with James McManus moving back onto the wing.
Captain Kurt Gidley is named to return to starting hooker, with Adam Clydsdale shifting back to the bench.
Darius Boyd and Beau Scott have both been named however will need to be assessed following Wednesday night’s State of Origin.
Travis Waddell returns to NSW Cup following his late inclusion in the NRL team while Jake Mamo isn’t named to play this weekend due to a back injury.
