Newcastle Knights forward Joseph Tapine hyper-extended his elbow in Saturday night’s loss at Allianz Stadium but was cleared following scans on Monday.
In other injury news, Joey Leilua is set to return this week but will be reviewed later this week following a throat injury in Round 13.
Toka Likiliki is expected to return this weekend after a being sidelined with a hamstring injury while Marvin Filipo remains out due to an arm injury. Filipo will have a medical next week to determine when he can resume contact sessions.
Timana Tahu made a successful return from a knee reconstruction last weekend while Jake Mamo will be monitored for a back injury.
