The Newcastle Knights has named a 17-man team for Sunday’s Round 13 match for the Allan McMahon Shield against the Wests Tigers at Hunter Stadium.
The Knights welcome back Beau Scott and Akuila Uate, from a neck and knee injury respectively; however lose Adam Cuthbertson to a knee injury.
Cuthbertson's scans on Tuesday confirmed a grade two medial ligament knee injury, which sidelines him for 4-6 weeks while Scott’s scans on his neck were clear.
Scott returns to the starting line-up for Korbin Sims, while Uate replaces Josh Mantellato on the wing and Jeremy Smith is named at lock.
After backing up from Origin last weekend, fullback Darius Boyd is set to play his 200th NRL game on Sunday.
The Knights will wear a high-vis replica miners jersey for the home game against the Tigers.
