The Newcastle Knights are set to be without Adam Cuthbertson for four to six weeks due to a grade two medial ligament knee injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Warriors.

Jarrod Mullen will also be assessed this week for a shoulder knock while in NSW Cup, Ben Tupou broke his collarbone and will be sidelined for six weeks.

In other injury news, Beau Scott (neck) and Akuila Uate (knee) are both expected to return for this week's match against the West Tigers at Hunter Stadium after missing Sunday's game. 

Jake Mamo should also be available after a back injury sidelined him while Timana Tahu is set to return following off-season ACL reconstruction surgery.

Marvin Filipo, who has an arm injury, remains two to three weeks away from full fitness.
