Adam Clydsdale will be free to play in Monday night's game against Manly after taking the early guilty plea for a grade one dangerous contact charge on Tuesday morning.
Clydsdale risked a one week suspension if he challenged the charge at the NRL Judiciary and was found guilty.
EARLIER: Newcastle Knights' hooker Adam Clydsdale has been issued with a grade one dangerous contact charge for a tackle on Penrith's Jeremy Latimore late in the match on Sunday at Hunter Stadium.
If Clydsdale takes an early plea (75 points), he won't miss a game however if he appeals and is found guilty, he will miss one game (100 points).
The Club will make a decision by noon on Tuesday.
