The Newcastle Knights have continued to push the boundaries of sport, fashion and culture, unveiling a groundbreaking merchandise capsule collaboration with Australian lifestyle brand, SŚAINT.
Launching Monday, 25 May, ahead of the Knights’ NRL clash against the Eels, the limited-edition capsule represents the latest step in the club’s growing presence within the fashion and lifestyle space following the recently announced partnership with The ICONIC.
The exclusive capsule blends contemporary streetwear aesthetics with the identity and energy of the Knights brand.
The limited collection will be available exclusively via theSSAINT website and in-stadium, during Saturday’s NRL match.
Newcastle Knights Group Chief Commercial Officer Jodie Cross said the collaboration highlighted the rapid growth and cultural relevance of both the Knights brand and rugby league on the whole.
“Partnerships like this show just how far both the men’s and the women’s game has come and the space both now occupy within Australian culture,” Cross said.
“To have a brand like SŚAINT wanting to collaborate with the Knights is incredibly exciting and speaks to the strength of our audience, our players and the direction sport is heading globally.
“We’ve seen the intersection of fashion and sport continue to evolve around the world, and this collaboration is another example of the Knights helping lead that movement here in Australia.
SŚAINT founders Elle Wallace and Ciara Mahoney said the collaboration was a natural fit for the brand.
“At SŚAINT, we’ve always been inspired by culture, community and self-expression, so collaborating with a club as iconic as the Knights felt incredibly authentic to us,” Wallace said.
“There’s a real movement where sport and fashion are becoming deeply connected, and we’re excited to create something that sits at the centre of that evolution.”
Mahoney said the partnership represented an exciting opportunity to bring a fresh perspective to traditional sporting merchandise.
“The Knights have built such a powerful brand and community, particularly within the women’s game, and we loved the opportunity to reimagine supporter apparel through a fashion lens,” Mahoney said.
“This capsule is designed to feel elevated, wearable and limited - something supporters can genuinely style into their everyday wardrobe while still feeling connected to the club.”
Founded by lifelong friends Wallace and Mahoney on the Central Coast, SŚAINT has quickly emerged as one of Australia’s leading lifestyle brands, known for its minimalist aesthetic and growing influence across fashion and culture.
