Newcastle’s Own: 2026 ANZAC Round Jersey

The nib Newcastle Knights are proud to unveil the club’s 2026 ANZAC Round Jersey, available now for pre-order.

This year’s design builds on the strong connection to the region’s military history, while introducing subtle updates for both performance and presence.

Continuing the tribute to the 35th Infantry Battalion, Newcastle’s Own retains the distinctive emerald green and cinnamon brown colour palette, drawn directly from the battalion’s original unit patch.

A key evolution in this year’s design is the repositioning of the battalion insignia to the head of the sleeve.

This placement mirrors the brown-over-green oval patch worn by soldiers in the field from 1916, strengthening that authenticity of its connection to those who served.

The 2026 jersey also features a modern performance collar, enhancing both comfort and on-field identity.

Formed in Newcastle during the First World War, the 35th Battalion saw nearly 600 local men serve on the Western Front.

The unit played significant roles in major campaigns including Messines, Passchendaele, and Villers-Bretonneux.

The ANZAC Round jersey stands as a mark of respect and remembrance, honouring the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of those who served, while connecting the Knights and the Newcastle community to its proud history.

The 2026 ANZAC Round Jersey is available now for preorder, via the Knights Shop.
