The nib Newcastle Knights are proud to launch the Club of the Month program for the 2026 season, once again celebrating the heart of our game: Grassroots Clubs.
Running from April through to August, the initiative will shine a spotlight on Junior Clubs from across the Hunter, Mid-North Coast and Greater Northern regions that are going above and beyond to grow the game, foster participation, and create inclusive, welcoming environments for all.
Each month, one standout Club will be recognised as the Knights Club of the Month and rewarded with:
- A dedicated feature story on the Knights website
- A special shoutout on game day
- A signed Knights jersey to support their club’s fundraising efforts
To be considered, Clubs will be invited to submit a short entry highlighting how they are driving participation, promoting game development, and ensuring their club is inclusive and accessible to all players and supporters.
Whether it's championing female participation, developing junior talent, or building a club culture that celebrates diversity, the Knights want to hear your story.
The Club of the Month program is part of the Knights’ continued commitment to supporting local Clubs, recognising community champions, and inspiring the next generation of Rugby League stars.
