The nib Newcastle Knights are pleased to welcome Lachlan Crouch back to the Hunter, signing a three-year National Rugby League contract to return home in 2026.

Crouch, 22, started his junior career with the East Maitland Griffins, before progressing through the Knights junior pathway systems, including a Harold Matthews premiership victory in 2019.

Standing at 191cm and tipping the scales over 105kg, the hardworking prop has consistently produced high-level game statistics with a low error rate, making major contributions to his team’s significant success in NSWRL competitions.

nib Newcastle Knights Head of Recruitment Peter O’Sullivan shared the Club’s excitement with the news the Knights pathways product is returning to Newcastle.

“We are delighted Lachie is coming home to the Knights for the next three years," O’Sullivan said.

“Lachie is a skilful player with a great motor. He is technically very sound with a great footy IQ, and there is no doubt he is one of the best props in the NSW Cup competition.

“Lachie had other options on the table, so we are really pleased he chose to come home to further his career. We know he will be a great addition to our squad.”
