UPDATE: Voting for the 2025 Ken Stephen Medal has now closed.

The nib Newcastle Knights are proud to announce that Dylan Lucas has been nominated for the 2025 Ken Stephen Medal, recognising his outstanding contributions to the community both on and off the field.

A proud Wiradjuri man and respected leader within the Knights squad, Dylan has consistently gone above and beyond to make a meaningful impact across the Hunter and beyond.

His dedication to youth empowerment, cultural education, and inclusion has set a powerful example for his teammates and the wider rugby league community.

Dylan is not only involved in the Boots for Brighter Futures initiative, he also donates his time to support disability inclusion through Game Changer, and plays an active role in mentoring young Indigenous students as part of the NRL’s School to Work program.

Away from the training paddock, he frequently visits schools and hospitals, using his platform to inspire values of resilience, respect, and cultural pride.

Despite the commitments that come with being an elite athlete, Dylan continues to volunteer his time with humility and heart - living out the Knights' values and leaving a lasting impact on everyone he meets.

The entire Knights family congratulates Dylan on this well-deserved nomination and celebrates the positive difference he makes every day.
