The NSWRL is pleased to announce the CABE NSW Under 19s Men’s squad has been named for the State of Origin Under 19s Men’s match at the Sunshine Coast Stadium in Queensland on Thursday 19 June.
The 20-player squad includes five players from the team that beat Queensland 14-10 at Leichhardt Oval in 2024 – Connor Votano, Hayden Buchanan, Mitchell Woods, Jacob Halangahu and Cody Hopwood – while Zane Harrison was 18th player in 2024.
The team also includes three players from the UNE SG Ball Cup (Under 19s) Premiers Sydney Roosters – Toby Rodwell, Jaxson Allen and Kanaan Magele – and Jezaiah Funa-luta from Grand Finalists Parramatta Eels.
The CABE NSW Under 19s Men will be coached by True Blue Josh Jackson, who coaches the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the Jersey Flegg Cup (Under 21s), with True Blues Josh Reynolds, Trent Hodkinson and Dale Finucane appointed as his assistants.
The squad will come into camp on Friday 13 June and train at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence at Sydney Olympic Park before heading to the Sunshine Coast on Monday 16 June.
