The nib Newcastle Knights have gone down 28-6 to the Parramatta Eels on Friday night at McDonald Jones Stadium.
Ahead of the match, the Club recognised a significant milestone with Dane Gagai running out for his 300th match in the NRL.
The Eels ran in five tries to the Knights one to run out victors in the end.

1st min - In a special moment for the Gagai family, Dane ran out for his 300th match in the NRL alongside his kids.
The match would soon kick-off in front of 20,125 Members and supporters.
10th min - Parramatta struck first with halfback Mitchell Moses collecting the ball from a kick to score first for the away side. Knights 0-6 Eels
14th min - Zac Lomax extended Parramatta's lead with a try in the corner. Knights 0-10 Eels
40th min - After a tough grind in the opening 40, the away side led 10-0 over the Knights.
55th min - Lomax would go over for his second try of the night. Knights 0-16 Eels
62nd min - Kai Pearce-Paul was sent to the sin-bin and Parramatta converted a penalty goal from close to in front. Knights 0-18 Eels
63rd min - Dylan Brown extended the away side's lead running in for a try following a midfield break from Josh Addo-Carr. Knights 0-24 Eels
66th min - The Eels capitalised on the extra man with Jordan Samrani scoring their fifth. Knights 0-28 Eels
74th min - James Schiller scored a late consolation try for the red and blue. Knights 6-28 Eels
80th min - The match finished 28-6 to the way of the Eels.
