The nib Newcastle Knights have gone down 26-12 to the Warriors in their Anzac Round clash at Apollo Projects Stadium, Christchurch.

The Knights were defeated five tries to two by the home side in wet conditions in New Zealand.

How it played out:

1st min: The match kicked off with the Knights donning the green and brown in honour of 'Newcastle's Own' 35th Battalion.

49th min: Newcastle were next to score after half-time with Dane Gagai showcasing his speed and power to set up James Schiller.

Gagai powered away from his opposite number, before racing down the sideline and finding his winger in support.
