Newcastle's Own: The story behind the 2025 Anzac Round Jersey

Formed during World War I, the battalion was comprised predominantly of men from the Newcastle region and served with distinction on the Western Front.

The design of the 2025 ANZAC Round jersey proudly reflects this local military heritage, incorporating the traditional green and cinnamon brown colours of the battalion.

Worn during the Round 8 ANZAC Round clash at Christchurch, each jersey is more than just game-worn apparel – it is a powerful reminder of resilience, sacrifice and regional pride, reinforcing the Knights’ deep-rooted connection to the people and history of Newcastle.

Now available for auction:

  • 22 player worn signed jerseys
  • 1 full squad signed jersey
  • 1 Captain and Coach signed jersey
