Medical Update: Round 8

nib Newcastle Knights half back Tyson Gamble has been ruled out of Friday’s Anzac Day fixture against the New Zealand Warriors in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Gamble suffered a broken nose in the 29th minute of the NRL Round 7 clash against the Sharks.

Gamble has since undergone surgery and remained in Newcastle to recover, aiming towards being available for selection in Round 9.

Jacob Saifiti, Jack Hetherington and Adam Elliott have remained in Newcastle to continue their rehabilitation and are also expected to be available for selection in the coming weeks.

Dylan Lucas returns from a hamstring injury to take his place in Friday’s Anzac Day encounter.
