The nib Newcastle Knights have defeated the Wests Tigers 20-14 at Scully Park, Tamworth on Saturday afternoon.

Another strong defensive outing matched by some powerful attack from the likes of Bradman Best scored the two points out west for Newcastle.

The result is the third win on the bounce for the red and blue ahead of a trip to play the Gold Coast Titans next Saturday at Magic Round.
