Newcastle Knights celebrate historic Membership Record
Since 1988, the nib Newcastle Knights' supporters have been renowned as the NRL's most loyal fan base, a defining aspect of our Club's identity.
Today marks a historic milestone, celebrating over 24,000 members – a reflection of our fans' unwavering dedication and the Club's enduring legacy.
Reflecting on our journey since the 2001 premiership triumph, we've witnessed remarkable resilience and steadfast support. Back in 2010, our membership stood at just under 5,000.
The transformative period following the Wests Group's acquisition in 2018 ushered in a significant era of growth for the Club, culminating in today's milestone of 24,179 members.
This growth was significantly boosted by the vibrant atmosphere at our home games during the 2023 season, which saw three consecutive sold-out matches – a first in nearly four decades.
Mirroring this success, our women's team has swiftly risen to prominence in the NRLW, clinching back-to-back premierships in 2022 and 2023. Their achievements highlight our Club's commitment to rugby league excellence across both men's and women's competitions.
