The nib Newcastle Knights have defeated the South Sydney Rabbitohs 29-10 at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
In front of a huge sell-out crowd at McDonald Jones Stadium, the Knights produced an elite performance to score six tries to the away side's two.
The result is the side's seventh straight win, which is a first for the Club since 2001-2002.

1st min - The match kicked off at a packed McDonald Jones Stadium in front of 29,018 - the biggest home crowd attendance since 2012.

5th min - The Knights were on the board first with Greg Marzhew running in for the opener.
Quick hands down the left had the winger diving in for his first of the afternoon.

Kalyn Ponga broke through the line and fired a bullet pass out to Marzhew.

42nd min - South Sydney were first to score after the change of ends with Damien Cook scoring from the scrum-feed.
55th min - Newcastle regained the ascendancy following a break from Greg Marzhew.
From the ensuing set, a deft kick from Phoenix Crossland set up for Daniel Saifiti in the in-goal.

59th min - Replacement halfback Adam Clune was in the right place at the right time to ground the ball in the in-goal following a South Sydney error.

69th min - Bradman Best capitalised on a South Sydney error to run 70 metres to score next to the posts.
