The nib Newcastle Knights have defeated the Melbourne Storm 26-18 at McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday night.
The result is the side's third win in a row and keeps the side in the hunt for a finals playoff spot.
After overcoming a 12-point deficit early in the game, a huge burst before half-time which included four tries paved the way to victory for the red and blue.
HOW IT PLAYED OUT:
1st min - The match kicked off in front of 20,392 Members and supporters.
2nd min - The Storm were on the board first with Nick Meaney picking up a loose ball and running 80 metres to score for the visitors.
7th min - Melbourne had the early momentum and struck again through Trent Loiero.
16th min - The Knights needed to be next to score and pegged one back through flying winger, Dom Young.
Quick hands down the right freed up the winger for his 19th try of the season.

32nd min - Bradman Best had the side's second try of the night.
Jackson Hastings found the hard running centre bursting on to the ball and Best would power his way across the stripe.

35th min - Storm forward Tariq Sims was sent to the sin-bin for a high tackle.

Bradman Best turned provider freeing up the winger and after a slight juggle, Marzhew grounded the ball.
39th min - On the stroke of half-time, the Knights were on a roll when Lachlan Fiztgibbon proved too strong close to the line as the Knights led 18-12 at the change of ends.

46th min - The Knights stretched their lead out to 12 points with a try of the year contender from Mat Croker.
With the ball rolling dead, Croker produced an acrobatic finish to plant the ball in the in-goal.

52nd min - Justin Olam reduced the deficit off a scrum win to score for the Storm.
75th min - With the match heading towards the finish line, Kalyn Ponga added a penalty goal to put the Knights out to an eight point lead.
80th min - The red and blue would hold to claim the victory to a chorus of 'Newcastle' chants and ovations.
