Broncos v Knights Round 22 NRL team list

nib Newcastle Knights NRL Head Coach Adam O'Brien has named his 22-man squad for our clash with the Brisbane Broncos on Saturday night at Suncorp Stadium.

Adam Clune will replace Jake Clifford at halfback. Clifford played several minutes with a fractured arm in last Sunday’s victory over the Wests Tigers and underwent corrective surgery today to repair the fracture.

David Klemmer will return to start in the front row with Daniel Saifiti. The pair will combine with NSW Blues front-rower Jacob Saifiti for a three-way rotation and impact off the bench, along with injection from interchange prop Pasami Saulo.

Mat Croker will replace Mitch Barnett in the starting team. Barnett will also undergo surgery on an injured thumb and will hopefully return before the end of the season. 

The extended bench includes Jack Johns, Sauaso Sue, Chris Randall, Edrick Lee and Hymel Hunt.
