Knights v Storm Round 8 NRL team list

nib Newcastle Knights Head Coach, Adam O'Brien, has named his 24-man squad for this Sunday match against the Melbourne Storm at McDonald Jones Stadium.  

The team will return home for a massive clash and their second consecutive 2pm Sunday afternoon fixture for our KIDS GO FREE round.

Kids under the age of 16 will be able to redeem a free ticket with any paying adult.

Dane Gagai comes out of the team after suffering a broken cheekbone in the loss to Parramatta.

Simi Sasagi has been named to make his first NRL start in the centres, on the back of celebrating his 21st birthday last Sunday.

Hymel Hunt also suffered a fractured cheekbone in the NSW Cup game ruling him out of selection for this fixture, while Sauaso Sue has been named to return after playing in the Cup match last week.

The rest of the team is unchanged from the round seven Eels clash.

Kids will also be permitted on the field at the conclusion of the game.

The Match Day sponsor will be McDonald's and the 50/50 Charity raffle partner for this round is Ronald McDonald House.

Gates open at 11:15am, NSW Cup will play the pre-game against the Mounties at 11:30am, followed by NRL kick-off at 2pm.
