Sauaso Sue proved to be an ever-reliable figure in the middle of the park for the nib Newcastle Knights in 2021.

As tough as they come, the prop was a crucial addition to the forward pack playing 23 games out of 26.

The New-Zealand born player brought experience and tenacity as the red and blue charged towards the finals.

Sue made his Club debut in Round 1 against former club, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

Either starting or making a stint off the bench, Sue made his presence felt right from the early rounds.

The 29-year-old scored two tries including a valuable four-pointer against the Manly Sea Eagles in Round 12.
