Jacob Saifiti had a season to remember.
The prop forward starred for the nib Newcastle Knights in 2021 forming a formidable front-row partnership with his brother, Daniel.
The 25-year-old was awarded the 2021 Danny Buderus Medal for his incredible performances.

J-Saf played 23 games for the Knights this season with his first 11 games coming off the bench.
Saifiti locked down a starting spot in Round 13 and didn't look back with a string of man-of-the-match performances.
The 25-year-old was at his whole-hearted best in wins over the Warriors, Cowboys and Bulldogs in the back half of the year.
Pearce sends Jacob Saifiti crashing over
2021 was J-Saf's most consistent season to date and the stats back it up.
The front-rower totalled 2,437 running meters, at an average of 105 metres per game, with just under 850 post-contact metres.
Saifiti scored three tries and also had 29 tackle breaks.

Coming off a memorable 2021, J-Saf will look to continue his form and provide plenty of go-forward in 2022.
