Mark O’Meley doesn’t let the grass grow under his feet when it comes to making a difference in the community.
Mark enjoys doing things for others, that is why he signed up to take part in the Camp Quality fundraiser 'Big Walk for Little Kids'.
The former Origin and Test representative, who now coaches the nib Newcastle Knights Harold Matthews squad, is participating in the fundraiser to raise money to support Camp Quality’s services and programs to help children aged 0-15 years old dealing with their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of others.
Camp Quality helps change the cancer story for kids and their families by creating positive memories.
Mark’s god-daughter, Grace, is currently being treated for cancer and that is why he's so passionate about the cause.
During September, Mark has set himself the target to walk 200kms.
Everyone at the Knights wish him all the best with his fundraising efforts.
