The nib Newcastle Knights can confirm Bradman Best has been cleared of any serious injury following last night's 28-20 win over Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium.

Best was sent for a precautionary post-match x-ray following the win, with results ultimately coming back positive.

The 19-year-old has been in good spirits in camp today and will continue to be monitored as we prepare to face Cronulla in ten days time.

"It was just precautionary, I'm all good," Best said this morning.

"I knew it was nothing serious, the docs just had to do what they had to do."
