Legendary nib Newcastle Knights premiership winners Mark Hughes and Billy Peden were the latest guests on the KNIGHTS // HQ podcast.
The pair reflected on the 2001 Grand Final and the ensuing celebrations of one of the grandest nights in Knights history.
The duo also discussed this year's highly-anticipated State of Origin series.

Game I is right on our doorstep as New South Wales and Queensland prepare to lock horns in Townsville tonight.
With Hughes and Peden being passionate NSW fans, the pair looked at the current Blues team.
"I'm excited about this (year's) Origin, as always," Hughes said.
"NSW have picked a good team and it's hard to go past the Penrith connections.
"They're on fire the Penrith team so why not throw five or six of them in there."
"I like the look of the NSW team," Billy Peden said.
"Those Queenslanders but, you never know.
Peden: 'There was a rookie journalist who piped up with a question'
The former Knights also answered questions from the Fan Forum, a weekly segment on the podcast.
The question posed was: Aside from the Grand Final, are there any games from 2001 that live well in your memory?
"I think this typifies how sport can change because the first round we played Parramatta that year we beat them," Hughes said.
"Then we went down to Parramatta mid-year, around Origin time, and they beat us 40-0.
"So there's two lopsided scorelines and we turned it around.
"The message is, you just never know in sport."
