About the Organisations
The Mark Hughes Foundation
The Mark Hughes Foundation is close to the Newcastle Knights’ hearts and well known throughout the Newcastle and NRL community.
Former Newcastle Knights star Mark Hughes and his wife Kirralee began the Mark Hughes Foundation in 2014 after Mark was diagnosed with brain cancer. With so little known about brain cancer, the Foundation works to raise funds for research and ensure that those funds get to where they are needed most.
The Foundation runs mostly on the generosity of supporters so that one day we will find a cure for brain cancer.
Once A Knight Old Boys
The Once a Knight Old Boys have built a brand that is known throughout the country, raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to worthy causes and helped strengthen the culture of one of the proudest clubs in rugby league.
They aim to raise funds, enabling appropriate support for community, charities, junior rugby league, the Newcastle Knights, and Old Boy members in times of need.
