Numbers: Forwards combine for big effort

These are the numbers that matter.

While stats can't tell you everything, they do paint a very telling picture.

Here's what they told us following the Round 14 win over the Sea Eagles.

53

Tackles made by Mitch Barnett.

The Enforcer did what he does best by leading the boys in defensive efforts.

He led the game for tackles from his 80-minutes played, while David Klemmer also chipped in with 42.

197

Run metres by Kalyn Ponga.

It seems a weekend doesn't go by when we aren't discussing the huge metres Ponga has put up and Round 14 was no different.

KP led the game for metres but Klemmer helped out as well with 140, as did Lachlan Fitzgibbon with 120.

2

Tries by Enari Tuala, and what important tries they were.

Tuala has proven his worth in the try-scoring department this season and again shined by producing the game-winning try as well as an important one in the first half.

He also ran for over 100 metres and made three tackle breaks as well.

58

Post-contact metres by David Klemmer and Lachlan Fitzgibbon.

These two were brilliant again and worked hard for the team to get us on the offensive.

Jacob Saifiti did well in this area to with 47 metres all helping us to victory.
