The nib Newcastle Knights are pleased to announce experienced Recruitment Manager, Clint Zammit has joined the Club to work in conjunction with Alex McKinnon.
After seven seasons at the North Queensland Cowboys, Zammit will make the move to Newcastle and assist McKinnon with the Club’s roster management.
According to Head Coach Adam O’Brien, recruitment and retention is an area the Club has placed a lot of importance.
“This is a bigger job than one person,” O’Brien said.

Zammit is the man responsible for recruiting Knights fullback Kalyn Ponga to the Cowboys as a teen and discovered New Zealand powerhouse Jason Taumalolo at the age a 13-year-old.

The Knights are confident Zammit’s experience will complement the great work McKinnon has already produced as the Club focuses on not only engaging established players but the identification of emerging talents.
