Numbers: Backs star as forwards lay the platform

These are the numbers that matter.

While stats can't tell you everything, they do paint a very telling picture.

Match Highlights: Knights crush Raiders

275

Run metres for Kalyn Ponga.

The No.1 was electric in his return from a one match suspension, with Ponga being in absolutely everything for his side.

Ponga ran for an astonishing 275 metres, scored an incredible try, set two more up and even notched a line break along with two line break assists.

It's the type of form which reminds you why he's the hottest young talent in the NRL.

2

Tries to Bradman Best.

The young dynamo has now scored four tries in just two appearances this season, matching his efforts from last week's win over Penrith.

Best also managed to run for 154 metres, bust five tackles and pick up a line break and line break assist.

The 18-year-old also managed 24 tackles with just one miss in an impressive defensive display.

72

Post-contact metres for Daniel Saifiti.

It's hard to argue that Saifiti isn't in career best from at the moment.

The NSW Origin representative was huge for the Knights, laying the platform for attacking guns such as Ponga and Best to shine.

Saifiti clocked 157 run metres in total, made 40 tackles and missed just one in a terrific 52 minute performance.
