The Roosters youthful squad have shown plenty of fight, however the Knights showed their class to score three great tries at the back end of the half. Great signs for Knights fans, especially the sight of Pearce and Ponga's combination firing on all cylinders.

31' | TRY KNIGHTS! Jayden Brailey crashes over from close range to extend the Knights lead. Knights 10-0 Roosters.

55' | The Knights successfully repel another wave of Bears attack, however another error coming out of trouble gifts the ball back to the Bears.

51' | Both sides are struggling for completions so far this half, with the game becoming a little scrappy. The Knights are beginning to gain the edge little by little, however are still chasing the game.

39' | Try Bears. The red and black outfit hit back through Conner Garrety after a classy movement on the left edge. Conversion successful. Knights 6-12 Bears.

35' | TRY KNIGHTS! The red and blue force their way back into this one, with Bayden Searle providing a try on an absolute platter to Dylan Lucas. Conversion successful from in front. Knights 6-6 Bears.

34' | NO TRY! The Bears are denied by the referee after a clever kick into the in-goal, with the ball not forced cleanly.

32' | A forward pass coming out of trouble gives the Bears another full set of six in the Knights red zone.

30' | The Knights discipline continues to let them down as the Bears receive a penalty coming out of trouble, sending them back for another assault at the Knights line.

27' | We're looking at another tight one in the Canterbury Cup. Neither side has really gained the ascendency as we enter the final stages of this first half.

72' | Try Roosters. The Chooks get the upper hand with a reasonably soft try. The conversion is unsuccessful, keeping the Roosters in the game. Knights 20-26 Roosters

70' | Both sides are on edge as we enter the final 10 minutes. This one will go right to the wire.

64' | A tense 15 minutes coming up here in Gosford! The Knights are all over the tri-colours, and have all the momentum to go on and win this game.

60' | TRY KNIGHTS! A try off the first set of the quarter after Mitch Black flew through the middle to set up Kobe Davies! A terrific try, however the conversion thunders into the upright. Knights 20-22 Roosters

THREE QUARTER TIME | The Knights hit back and it's game on in Gosford!

58' | TRY KNIGHTS! The red and blue hit back through Christian Ma’anaima to get back within a converted try! Knights 16-22 Roosters

54' | Try Roosters. The Chooks score against the run of play, with winger Tommy Anderson swooping on a poor Knights kick to race the length of the field to score. Roosters 22-10 Knights

49' | TRY KNIGHTS! It's game on at Central Coast Stadium, as Harry Croker barges over from close range. It's a just reward for the Knights, who have been the better side since the team's re-emerged from the sheds. Knights 10-16 Roosters.

45' | The Knights have come out a different side after a half-time pep talk. 100% completion rate to start the half, however discipline remains a problem as the Roosters are gifted a relieving penalty.

24' | Nearly five minutes into the second quarter, and just one set being completed by either side. Both teams have muscled up defensively following the short break.

22' | The Knights receive an early boost, with a penalty awarded for a mid-air tackle.

QUARTER TIME | A tight first 20 in Gosford!

13' | Good to see plenty of fans have rolled in early for this encounter. The early stages have already produced some good attacking football, with both sides fairly evenly matched so far.

11' | A few relieving penalties allows the Knights back in the game, with the team now hammering the Roosters goal-line

7' | NO TRY! The Roosters are denied after five eighth Coby Thomas strolled over, with the referee ruling an obstruction occured in the lead up.

Friday 12:02pm: In a further point of difference to last weeks trial in Maitland, all matches will be played as 40 minute halves, rather than the 20 minute quarters we saw last week.
