The nib Newcastle Knights will be holding tryouts for their official 2020 Junior Newcastle Knights Cheerleading Team.
We are searching for talented and enthusiastic five to 17 year old’s to join our 2020 Sparkle Squad!
All are welcome in our supportive tryout environment. This team has been created for our junior supporters who love to perform and are eager to spread their love of dance throughout the community.
Tryouts will run from 4.30pm until 6.30pm, with registrations commencing at 4.00pm on Thursday, 20th February at McDonald Jones Stadium, 294 Turton Road, Broadmeadow.
What experience is required?
Applicants must have some level of dance experience as our squad work will be at an elementary level (dependent on age groups). However, applicants will not just be selected based on their dance ability but also their overall can-do attitude!
What does a Sparkle Squad team member receive?
- The opportunity to perform alongside the Red Energy Newcastle Knights Cheerleaders for 3 home games.
- Trained under highly experienced choreographers & performers.
- Working within a positive team environment.
- Mentored by our current Newcastle Knights Cheerleaders who are positive role models for young aspiring dancers.
