McDonald Jones Homes extend Knights partnership

The Newcastle Knights are pleased to announce the renewal of McDonald Jones Homes with the home building company signing an extended three-year sponsorship with the Club.

McDonald Jones Homes will be represented on the sleeves of the Knights playing jersey until at least the end of 2022.

"McDonald Jones Homes are an iconic Newcastle brand and I am delighted to see the number one home builder in NSW renew their partnership for another three years” Knights CEO Phil Gardner said.

“We are about building and maintaining long standing partnerships.  This renewal showcases the mutually beneficial relationship that we have formed with McDonald Jones and would like to thank both Bill McDonald and Andrew Helmers for their continued support.

“We look forward to a successful future together.”

McDonald Jones Homes Managing Director, Andrew Helmers, said they are proud to renew their support.

“We are delighted to extend our partnership with the Newcastle Knights and look forward to an exciting year,” Helmers said.

“Partnering with the Newcastle Knights aligns with our strategies and will assist in continuing to build awareness for McDonald Jones Homes nationally.”

Chairman Bill McDonald added; “Both McDonald Jones Homes and the Newcastle Knights are proudly born and bred in the Hunter Region over 30 years ago.

“There is no better way to show our support for Newcastle than through supporting this great sporting team.

“This commitment complements our naming rights of the stadium with our club sponsorship allowing us to support the Knights both home and away.”

Representatives from the Knights and McDonald Jones formally announced the partnership on Wednesday morning at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle.
