Not to mention a line break assist and three crucial tackles at the back.

It truly was a man of the match display from the No.1.

2 - Mitchell Pearce

This victory had Mitchell Pearce’s finger prints all over it.

Not only did he score two tries himself, the crafty No.7 ran the ball 16 times for 138 metres, laid on a try assist, a line break assist and broke the line twice himself.

A huge turn out from the star halfback.

1 - Mitch Barnett

Another Mitchell who played exceptionally well was the man known as “Barney”.

Barnett laid a terrific platform up front for the Knights, as well as causing constant headaches for the Cowboys' left edge.

Barnett ran for 98 metres, broke two tackles and scored a try, as well as making 38 tackles in a solid Knights defensive line.
