Squad reduction: Round 21 team update

Nathan Brown has cut two players from his squad ahead of the nib Newcastle Knights’ Round 21 clash against Parramatta.

Samoa international James Gavet has been left out of the side due to a hamstring complaint.

"He's got a tight hamstring," Brown said.

"He pulled up tight on Tuesday, he attempted to train on Wednesday but it's just not quite right to take the risk with."

Kurt Mann is a confirmed starter despite failing to finish the game last week due to a knee issue.

Brown: Team changes, injury and KP future

"He's fine. It was a minor problem. He trained again today but he's fine," Brown said.
