100 is a massive milestone for any player.
Erick Lee thinks so….
From the Raiders where he made his debut in 2012, to the Sharks in 2017 and 2018, the tall winger now calls the Hunter his home.
Edrick: This game will mean more to me
And it seems the red and blue suits him; Lee showcasing brilliant form in 2019.
Four tries, a try assist and over a thousand run metres already on the stat sheet this season.
For the Knights winger the location of his 100th NRL match will be quite fitting.
It’s Magic round in Brisbane, Lee’s hometown.
It means he’ll get to take the field in-front of plenty of fans and loved ones.
“Great opportunity to perform in-front of my parents,” smiled Lee.
'I know he'll be really excited': Woods backs Klemmer
“Expecting a big turnout of family and friends.”
What will be most special of all, playing with his mum watching in the stands.
“My mum has only been to a handful of games so this game will mean more to me,” Lee said.
Lee only hopes he’ll be able to showcase that consistency he’s managed so far throughout the season and his career.
“Once you find a good consistency, and a good routine everything looks after itself,” added Lee.
“Over the years I’ve been battling through injury and managed to turn the corner.
“Now just enjoying the process and my journey as a Newcastle Knight.”
