Social: KP's gift 'she wont let it out of her sight'

See what the nib Newcastle Knights players have been getting up to in their down time.

We've been keeping across the social media accounts of our troops and this is what they've been up to.

KP LEAVES HIS MARK

Every week Kalyn Ponga hands his headgear to one lucky supporter.

Last week it was a young girl.

Her smile was priceless and as her father revealed via social media, the gesture has left a lasting impression.

Her father posted on Twitter: 'Not the result we all wanted but Kalyn Ponga made my little girls night when he came over and gave her his headgear. She had been saying for weeks how she wants "Pongs hat" its now on her bedside table and she wont let it out of her sight'.

GUERRA'S MESSAGE

OUR BOYS LOVE SPORT

Our troops play rugby league but they are fans of all sport.

Over the weekend the boys enjoyed some MMA and golf.

PAYING RESPECT

Last week, Titans fullback Michael Gordon played a milestone game and many of his former teammates took to social media to congratulate him on his achievement.

Hymel Hunt also paid tribute to former South Sydney teammate Greg Inglis.

Inglis announced his retirement from the game earlier in the week.
