Nathan Brown has cut two players from his extended bench ahead of the nib Newcastle Knights’ Round 3 clash with Canberra.
Connor Watson has failed to overcome a knee complaint and will miss the match.
Kurt Mann has been promoted from the bench and into the fullback role in his place.
Jamie Buhrer will fill the bench role vacated by Mann.
“Jamie will play the utility role,” Brown said.
“A it of dummy half, a bit in the forwards, wherever he is needed.
“He’s an experienced player.
“He knows his way around the field. With his role this week, he knows what’s expected on him, I’m sure he can do that well.”
Mason Lino also drops off the extended bench.
