The Newcastle Knights are proud to announce Benedict Recycling to the sponsorship family in 2019 as an official partner of the Club.
Benedict Recycling is a market leader in waste recycling and resource recovery, transforming construction and demolition waste into reusable building and landscaping products.
They pride themselves on providing exceptional recycling services for large scale projects and waste generators, as well as being the go-to recycling facility for Newcastle’s general public and local tradies.
At their enormous site at Mayfield West there’s room for everyone to tip undercover.
With operations in Newcastle, Sydney and Wollongong, Benedict has over 50 years’ experience and is proud to link with the Club.
“We are delighted to be partnering with the Newcastle Knights, the community is right behind the team and we endeavour to support the community’s we’re a part of,” Benedict Recycling Head of Marketing Elke Dupere said.
The Benedict brand will be very prominent at McDonald Jones Stadium in 2019, featuring on the Goal Post and Corner Post Pads at all home matches.
“Benedict Recycling is a terrific partnership for our Club,” Knights CEO Philip Gardner said.
“They play an important role in our community, and with a site in Mayfield, they are a key contributor to our local economy as well as being a near neighbour of the Knights.
“Benedict is committed to sustainability, with the ability to re-use up to 85 percent of the materials they handle through their facilities.
“They have been an important player in a key period of growth for Newcastle and the Hunter, and we are excited they have seen the benefits of partnering with the Knights as we enter what we anticipate will be a period of growth for our club also.”
The Knights and Benedict Recycling look forward to partnering on a number of initiatives throughout the year.
